I feel like everything I will miss and feel painfully nostalgic about regarding the time I consider my childhood are all the things I already miss and feel nostalgic about. But everytime I go back to what my grandma calls my old stomping grounds, I don't have to miss it anymore because I'm back home and even though I'm 18 I still get together with my friends and with my cousins and act like a 10 year old again.

I'm excited for whatever comes next.

we have a GSA at our school, I'm friends with most of them because they're all in theatre or band. You freaked me out for a second because you said DHS and my school is also a DHS so i was really confused for a second. haha

Oh man. I wish I had read this earlier — I would have brought it up at my city's GSA tonight! But I'll totally ask my friends tomorrow, as well as bring it up at my school GSA meeting. Saying that there's no room, though, is completely unreasonably and silly.

O I'm listening to the only Fall Out Boy song I actually like/adore, and I'm SO HAPPY FOR YOU. So you guys moved then? Or is this just for temporaries? Are you still going to the same school?

I hate moving. Not to rain on your parade or anything, but I don't have the best history with the whole "moving" concept.

Definitely get a girl, they're so much easier to train, and they don't hump everything that moves, (sorry, but it's true). Get one that doesn't shed a lot. Or if you wear black, at least not a white dog, it can get hellish. And I can sympathize with you here. Most of my best friends consider themselves gay, bi, or lesbians with boyfriends, and although I'm straight as rain, sometimes I get the heat too. I do shrug it off most of the time though sometimes it can be hard. Keep your wit sharp by practicing on them, you'll get through it.

Ahh... I know what you mean about just getting hit with inspiration suddenly. The last time it happened to me I was... hmm, I think I was just talking to Mich on MSN about something and sharing somethine I'd written in my journal and suddenly it was like, - zap - inspired! So yeah, it happens. The hard thing is making the inspirations into a full-length novel.

The novel I wrote is only 50k words, which I feel makes it very generous calling it a novel, but considering it's YA... that works, right?

Gah, now for the query-lettering. Yes, I'm serious about this story. It's the first novel-length one I've written that I have real confidence behind.

That's a bummer, I hate it when my friends have bad home lives and mess up. But hey, our birthdays are two days apart, and the same year too!
