  • three weeks. (becca knows what i'm talking about and the rest of you will have to guess)

If I'm going to do this thing, I'm going to do it all the way. And it'll be... well, interesting to say the least. So don't expect to hear from me until March. YIKES!

  • career crisis?

So I've been thinking- am i really making the right choice by choosing the career i want to pursue? I mean, I've always wanted to be an editor/writer; i remember being in the fifth grade and doing a project on how I see myself in 20 years, and I spoke about being in the writing/editing business...

  • changing the title and, uh, hopefully I'll have more to say later

Ok, first things first. To change the title of your blog, go to the blog dashboard > global settings (left side, bottom) > title, description, and news. Ta-dah! And the second thing is that I hope to do a longer post later on, but for some reason writer's block is slowly trying to take me out...

  • this is a pointless post on dialogue formatting

I'm not sure when or how it started, but sometime in the last eighteen (eighteen! I still can't believe I'm technically, if not actually, an adult.) years I began regularly formatting dialogue in my head. And I don't know if maybe I'm the only one who does this, because I'm sure...

  • Desperately Seeking Myself

I think it's fair to say that in the past 7 weeks and three days I haven't been myself. If you've read my last post, you might hazard a guess as to why I might say that. I've been incredibly lax in all things previously important to me, and maybe in the process changing. Let us begin...

  • on words of both varieties

There's something unique about writing. About sending your words to people via the screen or paper instead of via the spoken word. I'm not a big fan of the telephone to tell you the truth. I can think of only a handful of people - not even that, really - that I actually enjoy talking on the phone...

  • I am a terrible person.

Well, I mean, not always, but I seem to be the worst blogger ever sometimes. Like with this place. I mean, I said I would update, but then I haven't even gone on this site lately. I'm like one of the distant RED girls. Maybe I'm the only one, but I wouldn't know. *hits head on hand* Other...

  • On the internet and girls vs. boys.

First of all, Amy G, I really like how you're asking us these questions! They give me something real to write about! Because let's face it: how tired were all of you of my mopey Spring Awakening posts? And though I love me some picture posts, I just don't do enough exciting things to blog...

  • ~Fiddler on the Roof~Holiday Season~ NYC Response~And a NEED to UPDATE!

Where in the world to start!? I feel just awful I've been absent from posting my writing in here for so long! First of all I MUST get this off my chest! Just how terribleI feel since I never got the chance to say what an incredibly wonderful time I had at the NYC Red: the Book signing/release party...

Just directing anyone who's interested to Ally Carter's (the author of I'D TELL YOU I LOVE YOU BUT THEN I'D HAVE TO KILL YOU) amazing post on self-publishing. Seriously, it's the best post I've seen yet on this subject... and I've seen a lot .
